Experience

I am a psychotherapist with over 30 years experience.

I initially trained in Education in the United Kingdom and have worked extensively with adolescents and their families in NZ. I am trained in psychodynamic therapy.

My clinical work with individuals, couples and families is both short and long term. I work with people who suffer from a wide variety of difficulties. I continue to develop my work with people whose lives have been affected by loss and trauma.

I lead workshops and seminars as required and am currently teaching aspects of the Degree course for Drug and Alcohol Studies. (Weltech)

I am involved in assessment for national qualifications and professional qualifications for N.Z.A.P.

Chair of NZAP (Admissions Committee). Member of Governing Body

Interests

I enjoy my work. As a member of a professional body I adhere to the required standards of ethical practice. I attend regular ongoing supervision as well as continuing to upskill and keep abreast with current research and thinking.

I enjoy sport for recreation.
